Geraldine Pagaoa-Cruz, DRS
Geraldine Pagaoa-Cruz, M.S., OTR/L, is director of rehabilitation therapy services at Dignity Health Rehabilitation Hospital. She is responsible for therapy department supervision, coordination, administration and staff.
Geraldine specializes in neurological adult rehabilitation and has more than 19 years of experience as an occupational therapist (OT) in a variety of health care settings. Prior to Dignity, she worked for Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation as a clinical manager. Before that, Geraldine was the founding clinic director of the Kean Occupational Therapy Community Cares Clinic and served as an adjunct professor for Kean University’s Department of Occupational Therapy.
Earlier, she was a clinical specialist for Motorika, USA, the creator of the REO-Go upper extremity robotic device. In this role, she trained therapists worldwide on the use of robotics in daily intervention. Geraldine was also an OT clinical consultant for the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute - Brain Injury Continuum and its inpatient brain trauma and extended recovery units.
Geraldine holds a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and a bachelor’s in exercise science from Rutgers University. She is also certified in physical agent modalities and Kinesio taping.
Geraldine is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and World Federation of Occupation Therapy.
