Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), CARF International is an independent, non-profit accreditor of health and human services. CARF accreditation demonstrates a provider’s commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback and serving the community.

In February 2022, Dignity Health Rehabilitation Hospital was awarded the following CARF accreditations for a period of three years each:

  • Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program
  • Stroke Specialty Program
